Fund Raising

Low Mill Outdoor Centre is non profit making and registered as a charity number 504697.

As a small charity we have to generate our own income, so we are always on the lookout for fund raising opportunities to help finance projects. Most of these extra donations come from The Friends of Low Mill, who are a dedicated team of local people. They organise events throughout the year, from a Pie and Pea Supper to the Duck Race held each August. We also try to raise a small amount of money through selling souvenirs in our Tuck Shop in the Centre.

The funds we raise are very important to us and enable us to make larger purchases for the Centre, such as a new minibus, which is our current project.

We provide adventurous activities for hundreds of people every year - people from all backgrounds and of all ages and abilities. We offer unique experiences, which aim to challenge and inspire those who come to us. The experiences create lasting memories and give confidence - for some they can be life changing.

If you are coming to Low Mill in the future, you can easily support our fund raising efforts by buying yourself or someone else a Low Mill Mug or key ring!
